Fans React To Usyk’s ‘Crazy’ Physique Two Weeks Before Fury Fight: “He Looks Huge”

Oleksandr Usyk certainly looks ready for his rematch with Tyson Fury.

They do battle in Saudi Arabia on December 21, in a rematch of their showdown from back in May which saw Usyk crowned the first undisputed heavyweight champion in over two decades.

It was a tight contest fought over 12 rounds, with a ninth round knockdown for the Ukrainian proving to be the difference as he earned the split decision victory.

With just two weeks to go until their second meeting, Usyk has shown just what great shape he is in with a post on social media, as he looks to keep hold of his WBC, WBA and WBO titles.

His physique has certainly got fans talking ahead of the rematch, as they reacted to his appearance with a series of comments. “Damn, the neck on Usyk. That’s why he’s got such a great chin.” “He looks huge. That left hand is going to maul Fury.”

One fan then poked fun at the nickname that Usyk has given Fury over the years – “No greedy belly here!”

Usyk came in at a career heaviest 223.5lbs for the clash with Fury earlier this year, having weighed 221lbs for his last three heavyweight bouts prior to that.

While most fans praised the physique of the Ukrainian, one onlooker feels he may currently be too big. “Looks closer to 230 here. Hopefully he sheds about 5 more pounds. No need to change anything.”

The outcome in the rematch will become clear later this month, and boxing legend Roy Jones Jr has given his prediction for the battle.
