Johnny Fisher has his sights set on a number of goals if he is able to get through his next opponent.
Fisher is still only 22 years old and is in the process of rebuilding. ‘The Romford Bull’ looked good winning his first 12 fights, 10 of them by KO, including against former champion Alen Babić, then stepped up to take on Dave Allen.
He controversially won the first fight via split decision in December 2024 after a close contest, and the rematch in May 2025 saw him stopped inside five rounds.
He returned to the ring in December last year to get another TKO victory and now returns to heavyweight action at the Copper Box against Belgium’s Michael Pirotton as part of Zuffa Boxing 11 on Saturday.
Speaking to talkSPORT Boxing, Fisher revealed what he hopes to achieve in future if he can get the win this weekend.
“I know what level I am at. I want to target the English and British titles, both respected belts in their own right. I I know I’m not at world level but I could maybe get there with the right temperament and the right training from Tony Sims.
“I’ve got the raw attributes but yeah in the next year, 18 months, I want to be looking at picking up at the British title. I’m a realist; I know you have to go through levels.”
Pirotton is 30 years old and has fought 12 times, with 6 wins by KO and two losses on his record, both against opponents who were undefeated at the time.
