George Foreman Has Watched Jake Paul Box And Sums Up His Chances Against Mike Tyson In 2 Words

Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson is just hours away.

A fight that nobody would have imagined just a few years ago is finally here, as they prepare to do battle over eight two-minute rounds at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The card will be broadcast around the world on Netflix, becoming the first live boxing event to be shown on the streaming service, and it will be a professional bout that appears on the records of both men.

It has split opinion within the boxing community, mainly due to Tyson now being 58-years-old and having not boxed professionally since losing to Kevin McBride in 2005.

It is a stark contrast to Paul, who since making his professional debut in 2020, has competed 11 times, compiling a record of 10-1. His wins have mainly come against former UFC stars, defeating the likes of Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz, Tyron Woodley and Mike Perry.

Paul’s limited ring time with actual boxers leaves question marks over how good he actually is, and boxing legend George Foreman has now weighed in on what he thinks of the YouTuber-turned-boxer.

‘Big George’ has seen ‘The Problem Child’ box before, and he has told USA Today in two words just what he needs to beat ‘Iron Mike.’

“One punch.”

Foreman then explained why Tyson needs to be alert in the fight.

“Be careful with Paul. Only because Paul has tricks. Tyson gets hit with one punch at his age, you start to hear funny noises. Haha

Jake Paul is no pushover and he is not afraid of any of these guys. Time is on his side. So happy for Mike Tyson, he needed this excitement in his life. Everyone is talking about it.”

All will finally become clear on Friday when Tyson and Paul square off, and fellow boxing legend Lennox Lewis is another who has needed just a few words to sum up Paul’s chances after watching him box.
