Jake Paul will welcome Mike Tyson back to the professional ranks later this year, fighting the former undisputed heavyweight champion over eight two minute rounds.

The controversial bout – due to the age, inactivity and health of Tyson – marks just the fourth time that Paul, 27, has faced a typical boxer, his record otherwise being made up of retired MMA fighters, a YouTuber and a basketballer.

Of the MMA men he faced, four have predicted how the Tyson fight goes…

Nate Diaz

“I like it, I think it’s cool. I think, s**t, Mike Tyson all the way!” via FightHype

Ben Askren

“I just feel like 58 is… I mean, yes the one thing he’ll probably retain is the power, so Mike Tyson needs to catch him. But the gas tank and all the other things that go with it definitely go downhill, especially when you haven’t been doing it very competitively.

I feel like that’s how it’s gonna go, it’s gonna be competitive early. 58 is old and he’s probably gonna get tired and, yeah. It’s a [lose-lose] because everybody loves Mike Tyson. You’re beating up a 58-year-old. He hasn’t been actively competitive in twenty years.” via Funky and the Champ

Mike Perry

“I think you [Jake] win. I think you’re younger and I think you’re doing the right things as far as what your team has you doing, it works.

I wasn’t able to add anything up on you, I wasn’t able to have you punch yourself out, I wasn’t able to get you on the ropes where I could release a flurry and at 58, Mike’s age is something I’m thinking about.” via BS with Jake Paul

Tyron Woodley

“On memory alone, on ability alone, he’s gonna be able to out-do and subdue any type of fresh, newborn technique that Jake Paul has learned. He can just go onto auto-pilot and wreck some of the current heavyweight champions now.

Yes [He could knock Paul out] he was programmed as a machine of war. Him and Tank are the only two boxers in the history of the sport that have as many knockouts with a jab, as a hook, as a overhand, high, low, body shots. They have had a knockout on their records from every punch they can throw … His muscle memory alone is enough to beat anybody … I’d fight him, but I’d be scared.” via Tyron Woodley

Paul-Tyson takes place on November 15 at the AT&T Stadium, Texas and streamed live on Netflix.
