Frazer Clarke has shared rounds in the gym with both Daniel Dubois and Joseph Parker.

Clarke is a former Olympic bronze medalist who turned professional after the Tokyo Games four years ago.

He is now 33 and after putting together a good string of wins over the likes of Mariusz Wach and Dave Allen, he had back-to-back fights against fellow Brit Fabio Wardley. The first was a split-decision draw and the second was a brutal first-round stoppage back in October.

Throughout his career, Clarke has sparred many of his heavyweight peers including Dubois and Parker.

Dubois is riding high right now after a trio of fine stoppage wins over Jarrell Miller, then Fillip Hrgovic after which he was elevated to IBF champion, and then Anthony Joshua who he stopped inside five to retain his belt.

Now he takes on another man with plenty of momentum in Parker, the former WBO Champion who has beaten Zhilei Zhang and Deontay Wilder in his last two contests.

Speaking to Boxing News, Clarke cautioned against Dubois getting too confident after his recent run.

“I just don’t want Daniel Dubois to overlook Joseph Parker because he’s sort of good at everything. He’s got better at everything. He’s worked at everything and I think he has the discipline to navigate his way around the ring for 12 rounds.

“Dubois might hit him and knock him out but I don’t thank Daniel should be overlooking him one bit. From a few things I’ve seen the other day maybe he’s doing that. He’d be a fool to do so.

“With Don Charles around maybe he won’t but when the fighter has sort of got that in his mind, maybe that’s a red flag for me. I think, I’m gonna say Joseph Parker on points.”

Parker and Dubois meet in Saudi Arabia on February 22nd with the winner likely to be able to go into an undisputed contest with Oleksandr Usyk sometime later in 2025.
