Carl Froch Called Out For Comeback Yet Again: “I Want To Batter Him”

Carl Froch continues to draw the attention of many different men in boxing who all want to square off with him in the ring.

Froch has always revelled in being a provocative figure, especially since he retired from boxing more than a decade ago. Safe in the knowledge that he left the sport as a world champion and won various titles multiple times during his career, he has always backed himself and talked up his skills, much to the annoyance of many.

Over the years, he has fallen out with former two-time world champion Anthony Joshua, after once sharing a coach in Rob McCracken, and has often been called out for a fight by John Fury, father of Tyson, for his comments about ‘The Gypsy King.’

YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul has often also spoken of his desire to fight the Nottingham man, though Froch has never seem too serious about wanting to get back in to the ring despite keeping himself in shape.

His last outing was arguable the best of his career when he knocked out George Groves in front of 80, 000 people at Wembley Stadium back in 2014.

Speaking to talkSPORT Boxing, 33-year-old Darren Till has once again taken aim at Froch.

“I wanna absolutely f******g batter Carl Froch flat out.”

Liverpudlian Till is a former MMA fighter who last competed in boxing in August 2025 when he fought a fellow MMA star turned boxer in Luke Rockhold and won by knockout inside three rounds.

Froch is now 48 years old and has said before that the fight is unlikely to happen as he see it as a mismatch that wouldn’t bring in that much money for him.
