Carl Froch has shared his thoughts after re-watching the Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn showdown.

The two men met in a massive clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on Saturday, with Eubank Jr coming out on top with the victory.

It was a fantastic back and forth fight throughout all 12 rounds, but in the end Eubank Jr won by unanimous decision after all three judges scored it 116-112 in his favour.

Former super-middleweight world champion Froch initially said he had scored the fight for Eubank Jr and, after watching the fight back, he revealed on Froch On Fighting that Eubank was indeed the correct winner.

“What a great fight. A fight I really enjoyed, a fight I’ve watched back since. I’ve scored it back since, Chris Eubank Jr was the right winner. There can be no arguments.”

Froch also discussed whether he would like to see a rematch next.

“I don’t know if they’re going to rematch. Do I want to see the rematch? They’re talking about it. I can’t see Chris doing 160 again. Not comfortably. He’s getting older. We’ve seen it and we know who won and we probably think the same guy will win if there is a rematch. I don’t know what Conor Benn can do different. I’d like to see Conor Benn stick around his weight at 147 and make a real good start in his career now.”

Eubank Jr has been linked to a future fight with Canelo Alvarez after his win, and the Mexican superstar has shared his take on the performance against Benn.
