Carl Froch has a warning for Jake Paul if he is serious about fighting Anthony Joshua.
Paul has not fought since November when he took on the former heavyweight world champion Mike Tyson. At that stage, the legendary knockout artist was approaching 60 years of age while Paul is not yet 30.
The YouTuber-turned-fighter ran out as the wide points winner after the age difference came to bear from the early rounds. It was another win to go with victories over the likes of Nate Diaz, Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley.
The one loss on his record arguably came against his most live opponent, namely Tommy Fury. That was back in 2023 and ended with a split points loss which Paul has long been keen to avenge, though Fury has been out with an injury for much of the time since.
Instead, Paul is now looking for his next opponent and after calling out the likes of Gervonta Davis, Canelo Alvarez and Floyd Mayweather, he has set his sights on former two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua.
‘The Problem Child’ had plenty to say about Joshua, stating that the Brit “doesn’t have a chin, has no skill and he is stiff.”
That has generated a response from Froch, as speaking on his own Froch On Fighting, ‘The Cobra’ reacted to that and gave his view on how that fight might go.
“F***ing game over.
“I think ‘AJ’ is way too big and he throws a good right hand down the pipe and if he lands that big right hand on Fake Paul’s chin…It might be the end of his life if he’s not f***ing careful.”
Froch has always been critical of Paul and has even said he would consider a comeback himself if the match-up presented itself.
