Tyson Fury has shared his thoughts on the controversial heavyweight match-up between Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul.
It was revealed earlier this week that ‘AJ’ would be making his much anticipated return to the ring against the former YouTube star at the Kaseya Center in Miami on Friday December 19.
Joshua has not fought since he suffered the fourth defeat of his professional career to fellow countryman and former IBF world heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois back in September 2023.
Paul will be making the jump up to heavyweight for just the second time in his career when he faces the two-time unified world champion next month, having spent the majority of his tenure campaigning at cruiserweight.
Former unified heavyweight champion Fury is the latest high-profile fighter to predict what he believes the outcome will be when ‘AJ’ clashes with Paul in just four weeks time.
On a recent instagram post, ‘The Gypsy King’ made no mistake in backing Paul to beat his long-term rival by stoppage
“Paul by KO.
Fury and Joshua have been linked to a fight for the best part of ten years, but the British duo are yet to finalise a deal to share the ring with each other, much to the frustration of boxing fans around the world.
Whilst there is still a possibility that the domestic rivals could lock horns in the future, Joshua will be expected to defeat Paul in impressive fashion if he expects to secure a showdown with Fury. Many will say that Fury is playing games with his pick, however he has been consistent, previously saying he would bet big money on the American.
