Tyson Fury Reveals How He Expects Anthony Joshua Fight To Play Out: “He’ll Be Crying His Eyes Out”

Tyson Fury has made a typically bold prediction for his fight with Anthony Joshua.

After more than a decade of having their heavyweight careers run in parallel, these two former world champions will finally meet in the ring on December 11 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

There will be a WBA title on the line, but also plenty of pride and the legacies of each man. Both are former unified world champions but are now approaching 40 with their best years behind them, although the animosity between the two has never dimmed.

Ahead of the fight, Joshua has revealed he will be reuniting with Ben Davison, which adds an extra angle to the beef between him and Fury given that Davison trained ‘The Gypsy King’ for his comeback and first fight with Deontay Wilder.

Speaking to Ring Magazine, Fury made it clear that it has been on his mind, with the prediction he made for how he sees the fight going.

“It’s going to end with a devastating KO. Joshua will go down two or three times and not get back up again. Or maybe even Ben Davison crying his eyes out, jumping in the ring with a towel, just to save face, you know.”

Joshua has been stopped twice in his career, the first time against Andy Ruiz in June 2019 when he suffered an upset loss on his US debut, then again in September 2024 when he took on Daniel Dubois for the IBF world title.

Although Fury has been put down to the canvas multiple times in his career, his only two losses both came on points against Oleksandr Usyk.
