Tyson Fury has shared the ring with Derek Chisora and Deontay Wilder several times, so he is well placed to speak about how a fight between the two might go.

Fury, who is recently back in the gym after coming out of retirement, fought Chisora in 2011, 2014 and 2022, winning the first two on points, then stopping ‘Del Boy’ in the trilogy match, while he drew with the then WBC world champion Wilder the first time they met after a long lay off from the sport.

However, in the pair’s next two fights, Fury knocked him out in what were some of the most engaging wars of recent years.

Since then, Wilder has lost twice more to Joseph Parker and Zhilei Zhang, while Chisora has beaten the likes of Otto Wallin and Joe Joyce.

Posting on social media, Fury gives his view on how this one will go and puts his support behind his fellow Brit.

“I’ve just seen that Chisora and Deontay Wilder are going to do a fight. I think this is a great fight. I’ve fought both these men three times each. I think it’s a very good fight but on this one I’m going to go with my boy War Chisora for a stoppage. Get up there Derek, come on. There should be a belt on the line too.”

Chisora is a heavyweight veteran who has long said he would bow out after his 50th fight, but were he to beat ‘The Bronze Bomber’ at this late stage and now into his forties, he may well be tempted into further contests later in the year.
