Tyson Fury Needed Just 1 Word To Sum Up The Boxing Ability Of Anthony Joshua And Daniel Dubois

Tyson Fury has a bold assessment of the boxing skills of both Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois.

Fury is back in action next month when he attempts to gain revenge against Oleksandr Usyk in their world heavyweight title showdown.

Usyk was victorious when they met back in May, dropping ‘The Gypsy King’ on his way to a split decision win to become the first undisputed champion in over 20 years.

Fury was the latest British fighter that Usyk has been able to defeat, having also beaten Joshua and Dubois during his stellar career.

Fans have compared the efforts of each man against the Ukrainian in order to determine who had the most impressive performance, but whilst talking to TNT Sports, Fury needed just one word to sum up what he thinks of his domestic rivals.

“Limited.”

Fury then explained why he came to that conclusion, insisting that he won’t be taking any advice from the duo ahead of the Usyk rematch.

“Someone of my size and heaviness, it’s not normal that I should be able to box, and move and slip. Why would I take that from my game? I wouldn’t.

“People say you need to walk forward at Usyk and walk him down and hit him. If it was so easy to do that, why didn’t Joshua do it who is a big strong man who fights like that? Why didn’t Dubois do it who also fights like that?

“Those men are limited compared to me compared to me, very limited. A man who walks forward like that to him [Usyk], it’s Christmas time come early.”

With just weeks to go until the huge heavyweight rematch, Fury has again responded to claims that there were too many voices in his corner in the first meeting with Usyk.
