Tyson Fury has a stipulation if he is to end his boxing retirement.

Fury hasn’t fought since back-to-back defeats to Oleksandr Usyk in 2024, the first coming in May when he lost by split decision to miss out on the chance to become undisputed heavyweight champion, before then suffering a unanimous points defeat in December.

Those fights were the first time in Fury’s career that he had ever been beaten, but it seemed another fight was on the horizon for him with the prospect of an all-British clash with Anthony Joshua looking nailed on for 2025.

That all changed in January though when ‘The Gypsy King’ announced his retirement from the sport, the latest in a number of occasions where he has claimed to be hanging up his gloves.

Some fans still believe that Fury will return to the ring at some point, but with Joshua needing elbow surgery that is set to rule him out for the next few months, it could be the prospect of a trilogy contest with Usyk that tempts Fury out of retirement.

With that in mind. ‘The Gypsy King’ has revealed the one demand he has if he was to indeed face his former rival for a third time, posting on social media that it would need to be in the UK.

“Beat the f***er two times and the world knows the truth. Anytime, any place sucker. UK next time, 100k people.”

The first two fights between Fury and Usyk took place in Saudi Arabia, with ‘The Gypsy King’ again expressing his belief that he feels he won each of those contests. That is an assessment that his father John agrees with, after he recently finally broke his silence on the saga.
