Gervonta Davis Makes His Feelings On Jake Paul Absolutely Clear After Mike Tyson Fight

After months of extreme promotion, Jake Paul versus Mike Tyson was an underwhelming and sad affair.

The eight-round fight saw Tyson step back through the ropes at 58-years-old against a man 30 years his junior. After worries that the heavyweight veteran could get seriously injured, he made it the distance, potentially thanks to Paul somewhat holding back. Fans learned very little about the younger man’s boxing ability as he moved to 11-1 on his record.

All in all the contest was an extreme disappointment, which didn’t come as a surprise to many in the boxing world who had predicted as much months ago. The card, streamed live on Netflix in a first for the platform, was saved by Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano’s firefight rematch which Taylor nicked on points again.

The event as a whole captured the boxing world for one reason or another and drew some strong reactions from its biggest names. Taking to Instagram, undefeated three-weight world champion Gervonta Davis expressed his frustration at the main event and directed it solely at Paul.

“To the bozo that shared the ring with Mike, you a whole bozo for this and you didn’t get the job done s**thead.”

‘Tank’ Davis knows very little about not delivering on the big stage, having knocked out 28 of his 30 opponents. He has in the past been called out by Paul despite weighing around 70 pounds less. He would still like his chances.

Where the YouTuber-turned-fighter goes next is unclear. He claims Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez needs a fight with him, which is untrue. He may target another former UFC fighter, or potentially look to face the one man who has beat him, Tommy Fury, in a rematch.
