Chris Eubank Jr‘s rivalry with Conor Benn went up a notch at their launch press conference.
The two men meet in a long-awaited battle at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on April 26, over two years on from their original meeting.
Their planned clash in October 2022 was cancelled on fight week after Benn tested positive for a banned substance, something which was brought up by Eubank Jr during the launch press conference for their re-arranged battle.
Things then got extremely heated during their face-off, with Eubank Jr smashing an egg off Benn’s head, a reference to one of the reasons why Benn may have failed his drugs test.

Promoter Eddie Hearn was up on stage to witness it all, and initially had just two words when asked by DAZN what he thought of it.
“B**ch move.”
Hearn then explained why he was so enraged with what Eubank Jr did.
“He came on stage with an egg. I thought it was glass. The noise and the way it shattered was like a glass. We don’t know what’s happened. All I’m saying now, all bets are off. If you bump into Nigel Benn in the next 10 minutes, watch yourself.
“The thing is with Eubank is that everything is pre-mediated. He’s sat there at night and thought ‘I’m going to hit him round the face with an egg.’ Some might find it funny. Imagine you in a head to head right now, the police would be looking for you.
“The game is the game, the fight is the fight. All bets are off. Anything goes. You’ve gone to that level. Thursday at Spurs. It’s on sight.”
With the two men set to meet again at a press conference on Thursday, things could get extremely ugly between the pair.
