Number One Ranked Heavyweight Says He Should Be Usyk’s Final Opponent: “We’re Both Undefeated”

Plenty of fighters are keen to become the final opponent of the great Oleksandr Usyk.

Generational great Usyk has completed boxing in many people’s eyes, though the Ukrainian has vowed that he is not done yet. The undefeated former cruiserweight champion is now 37-years-old and is the first man in history to have become a two-time undisputed heavyweight champion in the four-belt era, having twice beaten a trio of Brits in Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois.

As for what’s next for Usyk, Fury has said he wants a trilogy fight next year, while Jake Paul has also called out the former Olympic gold medalist for a contest in the MMA arena.

Speaking to iFL TV, undefeated German heavyweight contender Agit Kabayel has now also thrown his hat into the ring.

“I hate trash talk, but I think why not Kabayel versus Usyk, why not? Two guys that have never lost in their careers, why not? I’m WBC interim champion, he’s WBC champion, I think for the fans, it’s a good fight. I never lose in my career, he never lose in his career, I think make a big fight in Germany, it’s also good for the Ukrainian fans.”

Kabayel has rapidly ascended through the division with his powerful hooks, body shots and combination punching. He has beaten both Arslanbek Makhmudov and Frank Sanchez inside the distance, and in February he stopped Zhilei Zhang with a body shot, so is one of the form men in the division alongside WBO mandatory Joseph Parker.
