Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois face off next month for the IBF World Heavyweight Title and you won’t meet many who are predicting it goes the distance.

The two Brits have 45 knockouts between them in 54 fights. Each man has also been stopped inside the distance.

Germany’s Peter Kadiru (18-1, 10 KOs) has been in four or five training camps with ‘AJ’ including this one for September 21. He also has ring experience with Dubois having fought him in the amateurs way back in 2014 – a split decision loss for the Brit in Zagreb.

Asked to compare the power of the two by Pro Boxing Fans, Kadiru complimented the jab of the younger heavyweight but had another level of praise entirely for Joshua.

“Daniel’s jab is hard, really hard, but I never saw a right hand like Anthony Joshua’s right hand. Really. His right hand is the hardest I got hit with. So they both have really good power. It’s hard to tell, but I believe that AJ got more power than Daniel.”

Dubois – whose power has no doubt developed since those days – was elevated to world champion when Oleksandr Usyk vacated the title due to a contractual rematch with Tyson Fury preventing him serving a mandatory challenge.

Despite holding the belt, the 27-year-old is betting underdog to the most experience Joshua, who, with a win, will become a three-time heavyweight world champion. He would then likely be set up to face the winner of Fury-Usyk, set for December 21.

Of course, Dubois has different plans and believes it’s his time after two spirited wins over Jarrell Miller and Filip Hrgovic. He proved he has the grit and chin to fight through fire but many in the sport, Kadiru presumabley included, believe ‘AJ’ is a different challenge altogether.
