Evander Holyfield Gives Honest Rating Of Jake Paul’s Performance Against Mike Tyson In Just 5 Words

The dust has began to settle following Jake Paul‘s victory over Mike Tyson.

The fight took place on Friday at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and became the first ever live boxing event to be shown on streaming platform Netflix.

It was a commercial success, with Netflix revealing that the event was watched by 60 million households, whilst generating a gate of 18 million dollars with a crowd of 72,300.

In terms of the in-ring action, it wasn’t as successful though, with 58-year-old Tyson struggling to compete with his much younger opponent.

‘Iron Mike’ has since revealed that he nearly died earlier this year whilst preparing for the bout, which could go some way of explaining his performance, as Paul cruised to a dominant and one-sided points victory.

Boxing legend and Tyson’s former rival Evander Holyfield was in attendance for the fight, and he needed just five words to rate Paul’s performance whilst talking to Fight Hub TV.

“He’s a pretty good fighter.”

Despite not getting the stoppage, Holyfield was seemingly impressed with Paul, but also acknowledged that there were issues with Tyson’s performance.

“You can tell something is wrong with Tyson’s leg. His balance was off.”

Speculation has already begun over who Paul could take on next, with a number of ex-fighters such as Carl Froch and Shannon Briggs offering to face the Youtuber-turned-boxer.

A surprise offer has materialised though, as a current world champion knockout artist has revealed that he would be willing to defend his titles against ‘The Problem Child.’
