Jake Paul has teased the driving factor behind his upcoming heavyweight clash with Anthony Joshua.
The YouTube star will lock horns with the two-time unified world heavyweight champion at the Kaseya Center in Miami on Friday November 19 – a controversial fight but undoubtedly one of the biggest of the year, whether fans like it or not.
‘AJ’ has been out of action since he suffered the fourth defeat of his professional career to former IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium in September 2024.
Paul fought for the 13th time as a professional on June 28 when he defeated former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr via decision in Anaheim, California.
It has now been revealed by Most Valuable Promotions that the controversial match-up between Joshua and Paul will be a sanctioned professional bout and will take place over eight, three minute rounds, ending speculation that it would be an exhibition contest.
Speaking on a social media post, Paul appeared to reveal the eye-watering amount of money that will be generated when he shares the ring with ‘AJ’ next month, as he urges fans to ‘stop asking him’.
Stop asking me. $267 Million.

Paul will have his work cut out for him when he steps into the ring against someone of Joshua’s calibre on December 19, in what will be a monumental step-up in opposition for the 28-year-old from Phoenix.
Should everything go to plan for Joshua – who faces a 245lb weight limit versus Paul – the two-time heavyweight champion is expected to return to the ring in February before he pushes towards that long-awaited showdown with Tyson Fury, which could take place before the end of 2026.
