Jake Paul is known for being extremely outspoken.

Paul returns to action later this month when he goes up against former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

It sees ‘The Problem Child’ back in the ring for the first time since defeating former heavyweight king Mike Tyson in a controversial match-up back in November.

Paul has now hit out at another former world heavyweight champion, after a clip on social media showed him naming Anthony Joshua as one of his ‘ten most overrated athletes ever.’

Joshua held world honours on two occasions, but in recent years has suffered back-to-back defeats to Oleksandr Usyk, along with a stoppage loss to Daniel Dubois in his last outing in September.

Paul’s belief that Joshua is overrated seemingly ties in with his confidence of defeating the former world heavyweight champion, as it was reported by talkSPORT that while ‘The Problem Child’ has respect for the Brit, he feels he would be victorious.

“He DM’d me today like saying “LOL” to one of my training clips and then I sent him a LOL’ with a picture of him getting knocked out by Daniel Dubois.

“And so I guess like we’re kind of s*** talking, behind the scenes a bit. But I have a lot of love for Anthony Joshua.

“I think this type of stuff is funny and he’s a great guy and I think just a fight between us would be awesome and I do believe I can win.”

While a fight between Paul and Joshua may seem unlikely to some, Joshua has previously stated that he would be more than willing to take part in the bout.
