One of the most unlikely fights in boxing history takes place tonight as Jake Paul goes up against Anthony Joshua.
YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul takes on two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida this evening, with the event broadcast live on Netflix.
‘The Problem Child’ has mostly gone up against former MMA fighters or ageing legends past their best in his boxing career so far, with his most notable outing coming in November 2024 when he had a controversial bout with Mike Tyson, who was 58-years-old at the time.
Tonight’s clash against Joshua is a whole other prospect though. AJ has defeated the likes of Wladimir Klitschko, Andy Ruiz and Joseph Parker over the years, though did suffer a defeat last time out when he was beaten by Daniel Dubois in September 2024.
Nonetheless, Joshua is a massive favourite for this evening’s fight, with many fans concerned over the safety of Paul, who weighed in at 216.4lbs at Thursday’s weigh in, 27lbs lighter than Joshua, who tipped the scales at 243.4lbs.
