Heavyweight Jarrell Miller may have slimmed down but he hasn’t lost his appetite for a fight week altercation.
The Brooklyn native created a hostile build-up for his fight with Anthony Joshua back in 2019 before he was pulled for testing positive for banned substances. Since he has been back fighting on the big stage, he had a run-in with ‘AJ’ last December when they both fought on the same card.
Despite fighting Andy Ruiz Jr this weekend in what could be a pivotal moment in both their careers, Miller was riled up by Jared Anderson’s team in the hotel lobby.
That bad blood looked close to boiling over when Miller got in the face of a member of Anderson’s team and shoved him.
“Don’t let the internet fool you, n***a, I put it down for real. This is what I do. Get the f**k out my face.
He then explained his side of the story.
“He seen me looking at Jared, he gonna put his phone up. All he had to do was walk around me if he seen me coming. It wasn’t that serious. If I was gonna press Jared, I’m gonna press him. Jared walked by like a little b***h. Cool. Nothing to say. We both got a fight. But his pawn though, whoever on his team, gonna walk into me and put their phone on my chest. I will knock you the f**k out in this hotel, my dude.”

With just one fight week event now passed – the grand arrivals – Miller has a pre-event undercard, the press conference and weigh-in to come face-to-face with Anderson.
