Jarrell Miller Predicts Deontay Wilder vs Derek Chisora: “He’s Going To Get Him”

Jarrell Miller has weighed in on the upcoming heavyweight showdown between Deontay Wilder and Derek Chisora.

Miller has long chased a fight with Wilder, but it has so far evaded him. Instead, he has fought to a draw with Andy Ruiz, been knocked out by Daniel Dubois and last time out in January beat Kingsley Ibeh.

Wilder is now just weeks away from a fight with his fellow 49 with veteran ‘Del Boy.’ Both men are in their forties, and both likely need a win if they have any hopes of fighting on at the top level.

Speaking to New Betting Offers, Miller laid out his thinking for the fight.

“Chisora is one of those guys that is so durable. He’s so mentally strong. He has a physically fit stamina engine. He might look tired, but he can still fight. Deontay can’t fight tired, not the way Chisora does. So, I’m thinking it’s Chisora in this one. Best man wins, but I think Chisora’s gonna get him.”

He also broke down why he thinks Wilder is past his best.

“Deontay’s skills deteriorated when he changed trainers. I feel like if Wilder would have stuck to his name, being a wild man, fight wild and do wild sh*t, he would still be a guy threatening.

“But when you’re trying to tame down the beast and become a boxer, he’s not a boxer, he never made it through boxing, boxing, now you’re trying to change up his style, it’s not working for him. Styles make fights, and Chisora has a style that definitely hurts him.”

Chisora has shown better form of late with wins over Otto Wallin, Joe Joyce and Gerald Washington, while Wilder has been stopped by Zhilei Zhang and beaten on points by Joseph Parker, so despite his big punching, he remains the outsider.
