Jarrell Miller has experience of fighting Daniel Dubois and has used that to break down what may happen in his fight with Fabio Wardley.

Miller lost by KO in the final seconds of his contest with ‘DDD’ back in December 2023, and it began a fine run for the Brit that also saw him stop Filip Hrgovic and then knock out Anthony Joshua in defence of his IBF world title in September 2024.

Last year he fought just once when he put his belt on the line in an undisputed contest with Oleksandr Usyk but was stopped in the mid rounds, which meant Usyk became a two-time undisputed heavyweight ruler.

Rather than face mandatory Wardley, he vacated, which meant that after Wardley beat Justis Huni and Joseph Parker, he was elevated to WBO champion and that belt is on the line against Dubois.

Speaking to New Betting Offers, Miller found it hard to pick a winner between the two men.

“It’s a 50-50 in my book, and I’ll tell you the reason why. We’ve seen Wardley hurt many times in fights, but he’s durable. He’s mentally strong, he hangs in there, and he’s throwing hard punches to the last round.

“We know Dubois hits hard and has a really good chin, but mentally, he’s not durable. If his dad doesn’t stay in his ear for those 12 rounds, there are fights where he’s quit, mentally disengaged after getting caught with shots, and kind of given up.

“So, he’s probably going to start off pretty strong, but if Wardley can hang in there, I’m thinking a late stoppage for Wardley, or an early night win for Dubois.”

Whoever does come out on top will know that Usyk has listed a fight with the winner as one of the three contests he sees himself having before retiring.
