Alejandra “La Tigre” Jimenez improved to 6-0-(4) Friday night to claim the WBC female heavyweight from Martha Salazar over 10 rounds at the Oasis Arena Grand Hotel Oasis Cancun in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico.

Alejandra “La Tigre” Jimenez improved to 6-0-(4), Friday night to claim the WBC female heavyweight from Martha “The Shadow” Salazar, 13-5-(3) over 10 rounds at the Oasis Arena Grand Hotel Oasis Cancun in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico.

The cores were 95-95 and 96-94, and a way out 98-93 Jimenez. The 46-year-old Salazar, looked to have at least earn a share of the points.

On the same card former WBC silver junior welterweight champ Roberto “Massa” Ortiz scored a fourth round knockout win over Pascual Salgado. Ortiz decked Salgado with an upper cutdown to end the fight after 1:27.

In a lightweight bout unbeaten Joseph Aguirre scored a first round knockout win over Oscar Arjona. Arjona was down twice before the bout was stopped.

A super bantamweight bout featured Pedro Tut outpointing Alfredo Cupido over six rounds.
