Joe Joyce and Derek Chisora star in a battle of the British big men at London’s O2 Arena, a must-win if either has hopes of competing at the top level once more.
At 38 and 40-years-old respectively, Joyce and Chisora take the main event slot in the capital city without having much of a bearing on the heavyweight division as a whole.
‘War’ Chisora has made it clear he wants 50 fights regardless of the result – this is his 48th – but can’t afford a heavy knockout from ‘The Juggernaut’, whose back-to-back losses against Zhilei Zhang last year took his mandatory title shot away and left his career on the ropes. After a lacklustre comeback against Kash Ali, he must look good tonight.
