Keyshawn Davis has made his prediction for the potential Ryan Garcia vs Devin Haney rematch.
Davis became WBO lightweight champion on Friday with a destructive fourth round stoppage victory over Denys Berinchyk, solidifying himself as one of the best lightweights on the planet.
Two men who were previously considered to be two of the best 135lb fighters around before moving up in weight are Garcia and Haney, who met in a highly-publicised clash in April 2024.
Garcia dropped Haney multiple times on his way to a points victory, but tested positive for a banned substance in the aftermath, resulting in the result being changed to a no contest.
They are now set to meet again later this year, provided they both first come through interim bouts in May, with ‘King Ry’ set to take on Rolly Romero, and Haney scheduled to meet Jose Ramirez.
Davis has now given his take on how a second fight between Garcia and Haney would go, telling Fight Hub TV that he can’t see a different outcome from their first clash.
“I’ve seen them fight in the amateurs and it’s always been a great fight between them but the way Ryan Garcia did Devin Haney last time, I’ve got no choice but to go with Ryan again.
“I’ve definitely got Ryan going into this fight. Only thing I can see is what happened was the outcome. I got Ryan going into this fight.”
Garcia and Haney aren’t the only two big names that Davis has spoken about, having sent a fierce message out to his namesake Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis.
