Amir Khan Suggests The Perfect Next Opponent For Tyson Fury

Amir Khan has some thoughts on who Tyson Fury should fight if he returns to boxing in 2026.

Fury has been retired since January this year. His announcement came just days after his second consecutive loss to Oleksandr Usyk.

The first fight saw him lose his WBC belt and very nearly get stopped as Usyk became the undisputed heavyweight champion, and the second fight he lost even more conclusively on the cards.

At that point, many hoped he would finally lock in a fight with fellow British heavyweight Anthony Joshua, though that has not materialised as of yet.

After more than a year out since his KO loss to Daniel Dubois, Joshua has recently got back to winning ways himself when he stopped Jake Paul with a savage right hand inside six rounds.

Soon after the final bell, Joshua called out Fury for what is one of the most anticipated showdowns in the sport.

Speaking to Clubhouse Boxing, former world champion Khan suggested Fury avoid the man he has recently called out and instead take on a French former Olympic champion as he rebuilds before a potential fight with ‘AJ.’

“Usyk is one of a kind. There’s no one really messing with Usyk. I think a good fight for Tyson would be Tony Yoka. There’s good fights for all of them. We don’t really want to see Tyson get beaten so he can come back and have that one big payday fight.:

Yoka recently claimed a win out in Nigeria, but Fury’s promoter Frank Warren has said the Joshua fight is there to be made if the money is right.
