Heavyweight Hasim Rahman scored 41 knockouts from 50 wins. He is confident he sees another when Gervonta Davis and Jake Paul face off in a controversial exhibition bout next month.

‘Tank’ Davis has ignored his duties as WBA Lightweight World Champion and instead opted to face Paul in a soft-rules event that will see both men earn big.

Paul, who faced Mike Tyson last year and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr more recently, is one of the biggest draws in the sport despite being far off championship level. He will face Davis at a 195lbs weight limit, 60lbs more than the latter comfortably makes when he fights in his natural class.

Despite the incredible size difference, Rahman – who is best known for a shock knockout win over heavyweight icon Lennox Lewis – told B4 Champ he sees Davis winning early.

“I think Tank gonna knock him out.”

“So I’m just telling you, don’t be surprised if Jake lands flat out.”

Whether or not Rahman still feels the same after hearing that both men will be sporting 12-ounce gloves for the ten, three-minute rounds remains to be seen.

The event will take place on November 14, 2025, at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida. After initially being slated for Atlanta’s State Farm Arena, the bout was relocated following regulatory concerns in Georgia. The fight will stream globally on Netflix, and although the result will not count on their professional records, three judges will be scoring ringside.
