Lennox Lewis Has Made His Mind Up On Who Will Win The Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk Rematch

The Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk rematch officially takes place this month.

The two men meet in a highly-anticipated battle in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on December 21, seven months on from their first showdown.

Back in May it was Usyk who came out on top, dropping Fury on his way to a split decision win to become undisputed heavyweight champion.

The Ukrainian has since had to relinquish the IBF belt in order to fulfil the rematch with Fury, but the WBC, WBA and WBO belts remain on the line.

By defeating Fury, Usyk became the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis last accomplished the feat over 20 years ago, and Lewis has given his prediction for the rematch whilst talking to IFL TV – believing Fury will do what he needs to do this time.

“Yeah [Fury can do it]. I think Fury will look back at the fight and realise there is a couple things he should have done, and will do. Usyk is a great fighter, he’s got a great mentality behind him, his country’s at war, so when they fight he will still think he’s at war.

Fury knows what he needs to do. He’s been at the bottom, he’s been at the top, right now he’s at the bottom and he knows what he needs to do to get to the top, he knows the route to get there. It’s going to be a great fight, he wants to be undisputed as well. When he looks at the fight he knows there is a couple things he should have done and he’s going to go in there and do them.”

The upcoming fight has got the whole boxing world talking, and former Fury foe Dillian Whyte is another who has given a prediction for the bout.
