Lennox Lewis has made up his mind when it comes to what Tyson Fury should do with his boxing career.

Fury suffered his second straight defeat when he lost to Oleksandr Usyk in their highly-anticipated rematch for the unified world heavyweight titles in Saudi Arabia earlier this month.

Back in May, Usyk scored a knockdown on his way to a points victory, but nobody received a count on this occasion after yet another back and forth highly-skilled battle.

It once again went the distance, with the Ukrainian winning by unanimous decision after all three judges scored it 116-112 in his favour.

It means that Fury now has back to back losses, having been unbeaten prior to ever stepping in the ring with Usyk, and now seems to have a big decision on what to do next.

Boxing legend Lewis walked away from the sport as world heavyweight champion back in 2004, and so knows full well when it could be the right time to call time on your career.

It seems that he wants ‘The Gypsy King’ to continue as when asked by told TNT Sports Boxing what Fury should do next, he said target an all-British showdown with long-term rival Anthony Joshua.

“He goes to London. The biggest fight in history. Maybe Anthony Joshua.”

Fury and Joshua have long been linked with one another, and while it may be coming a lot later and with less glamour than boxing fans would have wanted, a fight between the two men would certainly still be a must-see attraction.
