Lennox Lewis Sums Up Jake Paul’s Boxing Ability Perfectly In Just 1 Word Ahead Of Mike Tyson Fight

Lennox Lewis knows what it’s like to step into the ring with Mike Tyson.

The former undisputed champion famously knocked ‘Iron’ Mike out in the eighth round when they faced each other back in 2002 in one of the biggest heavyweight fights of all time.

Lewis would go on to have just one more contest against Vitali Klitschko before hanging up the gloves for good.

Tyson had three further fights, winning just one of them, but will now return to the ring next week for his first professional bout in nearly twenty years.

YouTuber-turrned-boxer Jake Paul will be the man in the opposite corner. The 27-year-old has become one of the biggest attractions in the sport and currently boasts a record of ten wins with just one defeat which came against novice pro Tommy Fury.

Lewis doesn’t seem to rate ‘The Problem Child’s boxing ability. When asked by Title Sports Network where he would rank Jake Paul in professional boxing, Lewis’ response was short and to the point:

“Zero.”

He went on to explain that Paul isn’t a proper boxer.

“He’s not a pure fighter, he shouldn’t be on any list right now.”

In another interview with FX 29 Philadelphia, Lewis had no doubt his former foe would be getting his hand raised.

“Mike Tyson is going to win. Mike Tyson is not that old. Don’t take him too softly.

Age will be a determining favour if the fight goes too long. But if Mike comes with a 10-second combination and catches him, he’s 100% [going down]'”

Lewis has hinted that he would be prepared to return to the ring to face either Tyson or Paul depending on who comes out victorious on November 15.
