Vasyl Lomachenko became a four-time world champion in Perth, Australia by dominating and stopping a valiant George Kambosos Jr.

The IBF belt win puts the elite Ukrainian at the top of the lightweight pile once more following a crushing and razor thin loss to Devin Haney for the undisputed title last year.

At 36-years-old, Loma will now look to unify the remaining three major titles in quick time – one last crack at a career-long goal before hanging up the gloves for good.

It seems he already has two tentative offers on the table to do so. Post-fight, Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis took to social media to claim that Lomachenko was ‘next’ after his fight with Frank Martin in June.

Davis is the WBA Champion, elevated following Haney’s move up to 140lbs.

Another man waiting in the wings is Shakur Stevenson, who has long chased a fight against Lomachenko and may get it considering he now brings the WBC strap to the negotiating table.

Stevenson has one fight left on his Top Rank deal – the same promotional banner Lomachenko is under – and fans will hope he extends the agreement to make the unification. The 26-year-old defends his title against Artem Harutyunyan on July 6 in his hometown of Newark.

He has previously claimed the Ukrainian ducked the challenge, and seems to think that will be the case again.

Lomachenko didn’t call any names after his victory, but responded to ‘Tank’s call out by stating he has never ran from a challenge.
