Some of boxing’s biggest names have already weighed in on the upcoming Jake Paul vs. Gervonta Davis fight.

The shock match-up was announced last week, with YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul taking on WBA lightweight champion Davis at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on Friday 14 November, despite there being eight inches size difference and nearly 70lbs weight difference between the two men.

Paul heads into the fight off the back of his victory over former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in June, while ‘Tank’ was held to a majority decision draw to Lamont Roach in March.

WBO super-lightweight champion Teofimo Lopez is now the latest to offer his thoughts on the upcoming Paul vs. Davis fight, and when asked by Fred Talks Fighting if ‘The Problem Child’ could win by knockout, Lopez didn’t rule it out.

“It’s boxing man. If it’s a show like this, anything goes, anything happens. We expected Mike Tyson to do something, it didn’t go that way. Jake Paul is training very hard, so kudos to both guys, I’m not going to critique them, I only support them.”

The Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight took place last November, and saw the YouTuber-turned-boxer claim the unanimous decision victory, in a bout that was heavily criticised due to ‘Iron Mike’ being 58-years-old and having not competed professionally for nearly two decades.

As for Lopez himself, he has been linked to a title defence against current WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson in recent days, but the two sides continue to disagree on whether or not it has been signed.
