Tyson Fury is getting ever closer to his latest ring return.
The former world heavyweight champion has not fought since his second consecutive loss to Oleksandr Usyk back in December 2024.
The first fight in May of that year was for the undisputed title and saw Fury given a count during the fight. Since then, Usyk has also beaten Daniel Dubois to become two-time undisputed heavyweight champion, while Fury has remained sidelined.
It has now been suggested by The Ring Magazine that American heavyweight Brandon Moore could be in line to share the ring with ‘The Gypsy King,’
As of yet, no official offer has been put on the table, but Moore is already offended at the idea of being suggested as an easy comeback opponent.
“It is disrespectful that people think that I’m just the gimme fight that he’s gonna have before whatever he has coming up next. I find it very disrespectful. I’m pissed that he even thought to even think of my name, but I’m excited.
“This is what I pray for. We’re going to get in that ring [and] I’m going to show Tyson Fury some stuff that he’s never seen before. I’m going to put that pressure on him, and it’s going to be a night where I’m clicking, and he’s not.”
Moore only started boxing aged 24 and is now 31. He has won his last five outings, including three against men who had previously not lost in the ring, though he did lose via fifth-round knockout to Richard Torrez Jr back in 2024.
