Manny Pacquiao makes a sensational yet controversial return to the ring to challenge WBC Welterweight World Champion Mario Barrios for the belt. Stay here for round by round scores by Seconds Out.

The Filipino fighting sensation is 46-years-old facing a champion 16 years his junior. He had previously retired back in 2021 following a loss to Yordenis Ugas, however could not turn down this opportunity to break his own record as the division’s oldest titleholder.

Despite the respect for Pacquiao, those predicting the Las Vegas main event fairly recognise that he faces an extremely tall task against a competent fighter after years of inactivity. However, there is a feeling that if anybody can do it, ‘PacMan’ can.

UPDATE: At 46-years-old, Manny Pacquiao came agonisingly close to making boxing history by winning the welterweight world title. After a closely fought affair that never fully caught fire, the ringside judges scored it 115-113, 114-114 and 114-114 for majority draw. Barrios retains the belt.
