Mike Tyson is already thinking about his next fight despite his comeback still being months away.

He might be fast approaching 60-years-old but that hasn’t stopped ‘Iron Mike’ taking on the challenge of fighting someone who is less than half his age in Jake Paul.

Tyson’s last professional fights came more than 20 years ago and ended in a loss to heavyweight fighters he would have likely had little trouble dispatched easily earlier in his career.

The fight with Paul will be his first since an exhibition with Roy Jones Jr in 2022. Paul has had 11 fights and won nine of them against mostly retired MMA fighters, his sole loss coming to more experience boxer Tommy Fury.

Despite his aspirations to one day challenge for a world title, there’s little doubt that the YouTuber-turned-fighter is in the market for the biggest and most lucrative spectacles on offer.

Speaking on IMPAULSIVE, Tyson – who is confident he stops Paul – hinted that once the first fight is done, the unlikely pair could go at it for a second time.

“There is no patty-cake going on out there. This is what’s going to happen – two men are going to fight, somebody is going to win, they might fight again, and then they go to their separate banks and life goes on.”

Paul previously had a rematch with Tyron Woodley after beating him over the distance. He scored a knockout second time around. He has also been vocal about looking to avenge the Fury loss but said the Brit turned down this fight to pave the way for Tyson.

A rematch might not go down well with onlookers as this first fight has divided the boxing world this year. Many in the sport fear for the safety of Tyson, who has already been forced to postpone the bout on medical grounds.
