Jarrell Miller is one of the most divisive heavyweight boxers in the scene right now.

The American’s career has been marred by promoter issues outside the ring, as well as a number of failed tests for performance-enhancing drugs.

Most infamously, that’s what kept Miller out of a fight with Anthony Joshua back in June 2019 when he was due to face the Brit on his US debut at Madison Square Garden, but was pulled from the card late and, instead, stand-in opponent Andy Ruiz Jr pulled off an epic upset win.

Since then, fights have come few and far between for ‘Big Baby’, who is next out on against the unheralded Kingsley Ibeh on January 31st in what will be his first fight since he drew with Ruiz Jr back in August 2024.

Speaking to Ring Magazine, Miller was asked about his fight plans after that, and as usual, wasn’t shy in calling people out.

“Honestly, man, I don’t even know because there are so many names. Me and AJ don’t have no love lost when it comes to boxing, but respect to him and his friends that recently passed away … Tyson Fury is my homie, he’s coming back, I would love a scrap with him. Deontay, I would love to punch Deontay in the face still.”

Wilder is towards the end of his career, is now 40 and coming off a series of losses to Tyson Fury, Zhilei Zhang and Joseph Parker, but could well be in line for a fight with former undisputed ruler Oleksandr Usyk this year.

Fury is only just back in training following a year in retirement, while Joshua’s boxing future is uncertain after being involved in a fatal crash in Nigeria that saw him lose two of his team members and closest friends.
