Shane Mosley Certain On Who’s Better Between Floyd Mayweather And Terence Crawford: “He’d Beat Him”

Shane Mosley has revealed who he believes is a better overall fighter between former rival Floyd Mayweather and Terence Crawford.

Mayweather is widely considered to be one of, if not the greatest fighter in boxing history, proving his outstanding credentials throughout the course of his 21-year career where he became a five-weight world champion.

As for Crawford, the 37-year-old Omaha-native has emerged as arguably the best fighter of his generation in recent years, becoming boxing’s first ever male three-weight undisputed world champion with a victory over Canelo Alvarez last weekend.

One man that shared the ring with Mayweather during his tenure is three-division champion Mosley, who suffered a points defeat to his countryman 15 years ago.

Speaking to Fight Hub TV, Mosley sensationally claimed that he believes ‘Bud’ Crawford is actually better than Mayweather, but does give plaudits to his former rival who he says was ‘very talented’.

”I think Crawford is better, bigger, like he’s actually moving weight class and I would say Crawford is a better all-around fighter. Mayweather’s really good too though, you can’t knock him as well, he’s very talented. It would have been a tough fight but I think Crawford would have the edge over Mayweather because of the long arms and because he’s bigger.”

Fans and experts around the world have already began to debate whether ‘Bud’ can now be regarded as the greatest fighter of all time after defeating Canelo, a historic victory that has sent the 37-year-old to the top of the pound-for-pound list once again.
