Spence was ejected from his car after it flipped over several times
Shocking news from Dallas, TX as WBC and IBF welterweight champion Errol Spence Jr. was seriously injured this morning in a horrific car accident.
Reports indicate that Spence lost control of his $300K Ferrari while traveling at a high rate of speed. The 29-year-old champion, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle.
Spence was rushed to Dallas Methodist Medical Center. He’s expected to survive. Spence edged Shawn Porter in a 12 round title unification battle less than two weeks ago.
He’s scheduled to meet Danny Garcia in January 2020.
