At around two weeks’ notice, Umar Sadiq has travelled to Russia to challenge formidable native and WBA Gold champion Fedor Chudinov. Sadiq is currently awaiting his ordered shot at British ruler Lerrone Richards but with that fight unlikely to happen until fans are once again allowed back into boxing events in the UK, the Londoner of Nigerian heritage has grabbed a golden opportunity against a man whose only defeats have come against Felix Sturm and George Groves.

The televised action kicks off at 9.15pm UK time (11.15pm in Khimki) and the show is officially headlined by Russian MMA star Sergey Kharitonov making his traditional boxing debut aged 40. His opponent is washed-up former world title challenger Danny Williams who somewhat amazingly still has a winning record, despite spending the last decade as a globe-trotting punchbag, albeit presumably a wealthy one.

In the UK, you can watch the action live on BoxNation.
