*On the anniversary of what would have been his late daughters 10th birthday, Jamel Herring delivered on his promise to give her the best birthday gift he could – her father winning a world title. With P4P champion, and stablemate Terence Crawford walking him into the ring, and cheering him on from ringside, Jamel “Semper Fi” Herring (20-2, 10 KO’s), a former United States Marine who served 2 tours of duty in Iraq, picked up the WBO junior lightweight championship by beating Masayuki Ito (25-2-1, 13 KO’s) by UD 12.
