Deontay Wilder’s co manager Shelly Finkel has confirmed that the WBC heavyweight champion is willing to face WBA/IBF and WBO titleholder Anthony Joshua in a unification battle or fellow Briton Tyson Fury in 2019.
The ‘Bronze Bomber’ retained his title via a highly controversial draw against Fury in Los Angeles last weekend and Finkel is said to be ‘Very interested’ in big money unification battle.
On the hearing what Finkel said on Sky Sports and reacting to the Wilder Vs Fury draw, Joshua tweeted: "What took this fool so long? Like we ain’t been interested?!! Anyway well done Fury!
Referring to Fury’s impressive showing against Wilder, Joshua added: "They wanted to get you because they assumed you was finished!! I’ll give you a fair one when you’re ready! Either one of you!"
