Oleksandr Usyk has relinquished his WBA cruiserweight title and moved up to heavyweight.
The unbeaten top 10 pound for pound boxer informed the World Boxing Association on March 27.
Usyk last defended the title, stopping Britain’s Tony Bellew in the eighth round. After dominating the cruiserweight division and winning all the titles, Usyk will now look to new challenges and those challenges do not come any bigger than targeting WBA,IBF and WBO heavyweight king Anthony Joshua and WBC titleholder Deontay Wilder.
