Oleksandr Usyk vs Carlos Takam off due to injury

Oleksandr Usyk vs Carlos Takam, set to headline a Matchroom/DAZN show on May 25 in Maryland, is off, due to the Ukranian suffering a biceps injury.

The main event, which would have marked the heavyweight debut for undisputed cruiserweight champion Usyk, is now not happening but an announcement on the card as a whole is expected in due course.

The bill was scheduled to feature Devin Haney, Michael Hunter, Filip Hrgovic and a female super-lightweight unification between Jessica McCaskill and Anahi Esther Sanchez.
