Jake Paul is a matter of weeks away from his return to the ring.

The 28-year-old Youtuber-turned-boxer from Cleveland will lock horns with former WBC Middleweight World Champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr on Saturday June 28 at the Honda Center in Anaheim.

Paul has not fought since he prevailed against heavyweight icon Mike Tyson in their controversial showdown in Texas last November, defeating the 58-year-old via unanimous decision after eight underwhelming rounds at the AT&T Stadium in Texas.

‘The Problem Child’ has won all but one of his twelve professional fights, with his only defeat coming against unbeaten Brit Tommy Fury, who edged Paul by split decision when they clashed in Saudi Arabia over two years ago.

Fury was floored during the eighth and final round of their cruiserweight bout but managed to weather the American’s storm and hold out to take the victory at the Diriyah Arena.

In an interview with Sky Sports pre-fight, Fury responded to Paul’s claims that he will be a legitimate world champion in the near future, summing up his former rival’s chances of achieving this in just a few words: “when pigs fly.”

Despite Fury’s opinion, ‘The Problem Child’ could move one stop closer to achieving his career long dream of capturing world honours should he be victorious over Chavez later this month.

Paul has said he is targeting cruiserweight world champions Badou Jack and Gilberto Ramirez in the future.
