In rounds four and five Vargas was cut over both eyes and the champion was complaining to the referee about Salido clashing heads with him throughout the fight. But it was Salido who showed the desire to win in the latter rounds and he hurt Vargas with a couple of right hands in rounds seven and ten.

After twelve blistering round’s the fight went to the judges score cards. The final scores were 115-113 for Vargas 114-114, and 114-114 even. A lot of people had Salido winning the fight but once again Salido had to settle for another draw on his record.

However, I didn’t expect for him to head butt me and give me so many cuts to the face. Overall, I’m happy I was able to face this skilled warrior.
