A Hall of Fame great has played down Manny Pacquiao‘s chances of defeating Floyd Mayweather when the face each other in a rematch later this year.
It was announced last week that the legendary duo would be locking horns for the second time at The Sphere in Las Vegas on Saturday September 19, just over ten years on from their monumental first encounter.
‘Money’ Mayweather got the better of Pacquiao in their first clash, defeating the Filipino great via unanimous decision to unify the WBC, WBA and WBO world welterweight titles in what turned out to be a disappointing contest back in May of 2015.
One man that has shared an insight into the controversial rematch between Mayweather and ‘PacMan’ is Hall of Fame inductee an two-weight world champion Tim Bradley, who faced Pacquiao on several occasions during his own career.
Speaking on his YouTube channel recently, Bradley claimed that his former rival has no chance of defeating Mayweather when they face-off for the second time later this year.
“It’s too late, it’s too late. I keep it a buck, it’s damn too late. Will I be watching it? Yeah I think the world is going to be watching it too. I think everybody is going to be watching it. However, Manny Pacquiao can’t beat no damn Mayweather man. Sorry to tell y’all, he can’t beat no Mayweather man. Nope, not at all.”
Despite Bradley’s claims, Pacquiao has proved to be more active than Mayweather over the last couple of years and could spring a surprise when he attempts to hand ‘Money’ the first defeat of his professional career on September 19.
‘PacMan’ made a sensational return to professional boxing last July when he fought to a majority draw against former WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios in Las Vegas.
