Jake Paul has revealed who he would like to face next after he suffered the second defeat of his career to Anthony Joshua on Friday night.

The 28-year-old from Phoenix was hit with a crushing right hand during the sixth round of his showdown with ‘AJ’ before the referee was forced to call a halt to the action.

It was Joshua’s first ring appearance since he was beaten by Daniel Dubois in September 2024, with the 36-year-old from Watford now setting his sights on a domestic clash with long-term rival Tyson Fury.

Paul revealed shortly after the bout that he had been hospitalised with a double jaw break, although ‘The Problem Child’ appeared to be in good spirits as he targets a match-up with yet another huge name.

Speaking in a social media post, Paul revealed the extent of his jaw injury in an x-ray image as he reveals he would be willing to face Mexican superstar Canelo Alvarez in a matter of days.

“Double broken jaw. Give me Canelo in 10 days.”

‘The Problem Child’ was close to finalising a deal to face Canelo at the beginning of the year before the Mexican icon opted to face Terence Crawford instead.

Paul has confirmed that he intends to drop back down to cruiserweight ahead of his next outing as he confirms he is targeting a potential world title shot in the near future.

As for Joshua, the hard-hitting Brit is expected to continue with his boxing career and pursue that long-awaited showdown with Fury in 2026, after it was initially speculated that the 36-year-old could potentially retire from boxing following his clash with Paul.
