Former world title challenger Marco Antonio “Quetzalcoatl” Periban won a tough eight round majority decision in a light heavyweight bout over the previously unbeaten German “Hombre Lobo” Rafael at the Arena Coliseo in Mexico City on Saturday.

Former world title challenger Marco Antonio “Quetzalcoatl” Periban, 25-3-1-( 6), won a tough eight round majority decision in a light heavyweight bout over the previously unbeaten German “Hombre Lobo” Rafael, 10-1-(6), at the Arena Coliseo in Mexico City on Saturday.

The evenly matched bout saw Periban winning 79-73 and 78-74 on two judges cards. The third judge saw the fight even at 76-76.

In a WBC International female super flyweight bout champion Mariana “Barby” Juarez, 43-8-4(17), scored a 10 round shutout win over Tamao Ozawa, 10-3-( KO) The scores were 100-90 on all three cards
